LOSSES HANDLED
Within
Malaysia we have handled many major fire, contract works and liability claims.
Some of these claims include:-
 | Port
jetty which collapsed in July 1989 and where 32 people died and more than
1,800 people were injured.

 | A
gas complex which discharged toxic fumes in 1989 giving rise to nearly 200
claims from two villages in the vicinity.

 | Petrochemical
Plant fires and explosions in 1992 and in 1997 resulting in Third Party
claims.

 | The
RM800 million Penang Island-Mainland Bridge Project (1980 – 1985) where
there were more than 200 claims under Section I of the CAR policy.
|
 | North-South
Highway project in Peninsular Malaysia, a dual carriage motorway that runs
for 1000km from Johor Bahru in the south, to Alor Setar in the north and
involving more than 150 separate contracts led by the employers. We are the
nominated adjusters for both the contract works and liability losses.
